Dr. Arisah Muhammad
Dr. Muhammad is a Certified Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, National Certified Addiction Specialist, Peoples Advocate, Social Worker and Psychosocial Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Her pathway to education includes obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, a joint Masters/PhD. in Social Work and Internationally Licensed Certified Advance Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. Dr. Muhammad also holds a seat as one of the Commissioner for the City of Lancaster, Homeless Commission Services. Her credentials hail from her rigorous study, passionate life experiences and her drive to give back to her community.
As a top-rated professional in her field, she continues to receive accolades for service and support in her community. As an Advocate in the community for Men and Women in recovery she uses her knowledge, skill and personal achievements to advocates within the Department of Children and Family Services, California Family Dependency Drug Court, and Department of Correction Parole Division assisting men and women who are seeking a new and better way of life.
A nationally-recognized speaker who has toured to London, Canada, Scotland, Sweden and all parts of the United States, Dr. Muhammad has been called upon to delivers keynote addresses for a wide variety and diverse audiences including Cocaine Anonymous, California Association of Drug Professionals, Black Women and Health Society, Antelope Valley Wellness Symposium, International Defense of War on Drugs and many other organizations.
A Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Friend, Dr. Muhammad specifically utilizes her education to educate men, women, youth and family with an understanding that they can bounce back from the challenges of Domestic Violence, Poverty, Prison, Gangs and Addiction.
